Frequently asked questions
How do users and workspaces work?
Creating a user is free and includes a Free workspace. You can belong to several workspaces, own up to two Free workspaces, and create any number of paid workspaces. Switching workspaces never requires signing out.
Who counts toward Pro billing?
Owner, Admins and Members cost $15.99 each per month. Members Lite are free, with 5 videos, 5 minutes each, up to 1080p. Pending invitations are not billed. Adding paid seats charges the remaining part of the month. Removing members lowers the next renewal, and already paid capacity can be reused during the current month.
Is the Free video limit shared?
Yes. A Free workspace holds up to 35 current videos shared by its members. The three-member limit includes the owner. Trash does not consume the active video quota.
What do Education and Freelancer deals include?
One owned Free workspace gets unlimited videos for 12 months. Its three-member limit and other Free features remain. After the deal expires, existing content remains available.
What happens to a YC workspace after the first year?
It keeps Pro features at no charge, with a 1,000-video workspace limit. Paid Pro removes that limit. After a paid subscription ends, it returns to Free with a maximum of 1,000 videos. Previous program benefits do not resume.
