Switching from Loom: common questions
What happened to Loom Creator Lite?
Creator Lite was a free role in paid Loom workspaces, with up to 25 videos and 5 minutes per recording. During migration to Atlassian billing, those seats move to paid roles. Timing depends on your workspace. Read Loom’s billing and role changes.
Is Lassu a cheaper Loom alternative for my team?
It depends on how many people need to record. Our proposed team offer charges $15.99/month per Member, with free Members Lite for teammates who mainly watch and comment. Use the calculator above to compare with Loom Business or Business + AI. Owner and Admin roles require paid seats and are assumed to be among your recorders.
Is this a free Loom alternative?
Members Lite are free in this team offer; Member seats are paid. Free Members Lite can keep 5 videos, up to 5 minutes each at 1080p. That differs from the former Creator Lite allowance. At least one paid Owner seat is required. Join the waitlist to hear when this offer is available.
Why did my Loom bill increase?
If your workspace had free Creator Lite seats, moving those teammates to paid roles can increase your bill even when your team size stays the same. Check your workspace’s migration notice and billing date. This calculator estimates current monthly list prices, not your past invoice.
